The Thermo Scientific Talos F200i (S)TEM is a 20–200 kV field emission (scanning) transmission electron microscope designed for versatile performance across a wide range of materials science applications. With a standard X-Twin pole piece gap, this system enables high-resolution 2D/3D imaging, in situ dynamic observations, and diffraction studies. The system supports novice and expert users through its intuitive Velox software, automated daily tunings, and optional side-entry retractable EDS detector. Its compact footprint allows for easy installation in limited lab spaces, reducing infrastructure requirements and service costs.
