The test uses a peptide cocktail simulating ESAT-6 and CFP-10 proteins to stimulate immune cells and detect IFN-γ via ELISA, offering robust and objective TB infection detection—even in early or latent stages. Blood collection can be performed via direct draw into four specific tubes or using a lithium-heparin tube with delayed transfer.
