The BD FACS™ Lyse Wash Assistant (LWA) automates sample preparation for flow cytometry by lysing, mixing, washing, and fixing samples with minimal manual labor. Using patented cell wash technology, it processes up to 40 sample tubes per run without the need for centrifugation, efficiently removing red blood cells, platelets, unbound antibodies, and residual proteins while preserving white blood cells. The system is compatible with BD FACSCanto™, BD FACSCalibur™ flow cytometers, and the BD FACS™ Sample Prep Assistant (SPA) III to enhance workflow and throughput.
